Such a great remote/distant learning option. The closest thing to a real classroom. My child thrived in this environment, which also meant we could accommodate necessary travel during term time. The staff are incredibly accommodating, supportive, and genuinely invested in each child’s success. My daughter absolutely loves learning here and feels safe, understood, and encouraged every day.
The online platform can take a little time to set up at first, but once it is ready it is very easy to use. The hours are fantastic and fit so well into our family life.
The virtual sessions with other students and a teacher are a great feature and really help with confidence and connection. A special shout-out to Mr Hynd for being absolutely amazing. His dedication and encouragement make a real difference.

Yes, homeschooling is legal across all states and territories in Australia. However, families must register with their relevant state authority and meet specific guidelines, which may vary depending on where you live.

Do I need to be a qualified teacher?

No, you don’t need to be a qualified teacher to homeschool your child. Parents and caregivers can legally provide home education, as long as they follow their state’s registration requirements and provide a suitable learning plan.

What curriculum does HAT follow?

HAT does not replace your chosen curriculum. Instead, we support families by delivering structured tutoring in core subjects like literacy, numeracy, and STEM, complementing whatever curriculum or learning approach you choose.

How does the Seesaw platform work?

Seesaw lets tutors assign activities and students submit work using tools like drawing, writing, photos, or videos. Tutors provide feedback, track progress, and parents can view work and updates.

Can we do short-term support only?

Yes! Join for as little or as long as you need—short-term boost or ongoing support.

What if my child is behind academically?

No worries. We meet your child at their level and provide personalised support to help them catch up and build confidence.

How do group sessions work?

Small groups with a tutor guide lessons, encourage participation, and provide feedback while students collaborate and learn together.

What reporting/feedback will I get?
